Our client wished to design and bring to market a new consumer targeted broadband & home-phone service. This covered setting the strategy and business case, designing and sourcing the solution, implementing the new service and consolidating existing services on to the new solution.
This was a totally new business for our client with very ambitious targets and requirements. The service needed to be designed from the ground up, requirements needed to be fully scoped and were very large and complex, implementation needed to be managed across c. 0.5 million consumers, and numerous stakeholders and regulatory requirements (such as OJEU rules) needed to be managed.
Reviewed and advised on the overall strategy including breaking down the programme into manageable projects based on end requirements
Carried out a market review of the options, including Industry trends, offers, competitors assessment, and SWOT
Oversaw and managed our client’s internal business case
Supported and drove the project planning focusing on technical & operational requirements and implementation timescales
Managed and implemented the sourcing strategy and supplier selection exercise, and tracked the benefits received and comparative business case
Provided technical, operational, service and content expertise to put in place the correct services and related contract schedules
Design & build content solution including consumer portal
Defined strategy and implementation plan for the delivery of voice and data services
Implemented a major successful outsource contract within very short timescales.
